Don’t underestimate the power of prayer.

Even if you don’t feel like you have anything to give physically, these people need our prayers…

I’m working on the Speaking Louder Than Before Mission Statement tonight and I’m reminded of all that the Lord has done for us and all that we have to give to others.

The simplest and greatest commandment that Jesus gave to us…

Matthew 22:37-39

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Please join me in praying that the Lord will give us a heart and a love for people. That we will consider others better than ourselves and remember the brothers and sisters we see and sometimes so easily judge, were preciously made by God and for His enjoyment.

I pray we will be burden for the lost and hurting and that we will truly be moved to be people of action who know how to show the love that we have also been shown.
