I was reading chapter 20 of Richard Stearns' book The Hole in Our Gospel last night before bed. The end of the chapter has a letter to the church in America written in a similar fashion to the letters to the 7 churches in Revelation. He pulled a bunch of verses from various parts of the Bible and this passage reminds me of that letter even though it is not actually in there.
